FROM IDEA TO REALITY: THE EVOLUTION OF EPIC HOPE FOUNDATION
April 22, 2024
Don't give up! This is a phrase that was constant in my self talk during the most deepest and darkest season of my life. After journeying through most of my years a traumatized, incarcerated human being, I came to a fork in the road that presented two very interesting paths. Both paths were carved out leading into the same direction however, one was smooth, lined with people, music, food and beautiful trees. The other path was lined with different exercise equipment, books, paper and writing utensils. The longer I looked upon the path of most resistance I felt compelled to choose the path that appeared to complement my desire for rest, relief and reassurance. "don't give up" is what would echo from the deepest within me as I preferred the people lined path rather than the paper lined path. Then in what seemed to be a revelation of a discovery I encountered the most challenging but liberating question of my life! Which path with will equip you empower perspective and impact communities? Then I stepped onto the with EPIC Hope!
